We recently located to Smith Mountain Lake. Although we may be new residents, our roots run deep beginning on a farm in Ferrum which is the reason we are Windswept Design.

We met at Virginia Tech. We are a house full of Hokies and lake memories with family. This is home.

Our last child left for his final year at Virginia Tech and we decided it was our chance to make our own change and start an exciting new chapter. Living on the lake is different than visiting. You learn to organize your home for daily life while making it expand for entertaining a few or many on the weekends and summer days. Many of the homes in this area are older and have beautiful character. Like everything in life, there is the maintenance of a home and the design to have it function for your lifestyle.
